Sacraments

“The sacraments are efficacious signs of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is dispensed to us.”
Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1131

At St. Joseph Catholic Parish, the sacraments are at the heart of our life in Christ. They are visible signs of God’s invisible grace—sacred encounters with the living Christ—given to strengthen us in our journey of faith and unite us more deeply to Him and to His Church.

Through the sacraments, we are welcomed, nourished, healed, forgiven, and sent forth to live as disciples. Below you will find an overview of the seven sacraments of the Church. Click on any sacrament to learn how to receive it or prepare for it in our parish community.
